With a strong focus on affordable housing and community impact, Kara brings more than 10 years of multifamily housing management experience to her role as Portfolio Manager. Before joining the Guardian team in July 2021, Kara began her career on-site and progressed into leadership roles that have shaped her hands-on, team-oriented approach to management.

Kara’s expertise includes affordable housing compliance, budget development, and operational leadership within complex multifamily portfolios. She is experienced with LIHTC, HOME, RD, and HUD programs and works closely with ownership groups, vendors, and community partners to drive strong performance outcomes. Known for her collaborative leadership and attention to detail, Kara is passionate about building efficient systems and empowering teams to deliver exceptional service.
