Before joining Guardian in 2011, Karon held senior management and executive-level human resources positions for 20+ years. Her experience spanned the industries of financial services, restaurant and hospitality, software technology services, and healthcare.
Specialities
Karon’s responsibilities include strategic planning while successfully managing all disciplines of human resources, benefits, and payroll. She specializes in implementing human resources strategies, overseeing compensation and organizational development, managing employee relations, and providing counsel to senior management and company executives. Karon has been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for more than 20 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Portland State University with a Human Resource Management certificate.

The University of Oregon Ducks. I am a supporter of the Duck Athletic Fund and have held season tickets for 25 years. I'm known to plan my fall travel around the Ducks away and championship games.
