Michael Nagy

Experience

As Senior Vice President of Development, Michael leads Guardian’s development team and oversees all phases of the development process. Before joining Guardian, he established Wood Partners’ Portland office and served as Managing Director of the Pacific Northwest, leading the development of more than 2,600 apartment homes. Michael also served as Senior Development Manager at Holland Partner Group, overseeing the development of the Platform District at Orenco Station, a 650-unit mixed-use, transit-oriented community in Hillsboro, Oregon, among other projects. He also worked in the real estate investment banking group at Robert W. Baird in Washington, DC.

Specialities

Michael specializes in site acquisition, capital procurement, design and entitlements, and construction management. He has a proven record of delivering complex, high-quality multifamily projects throughout the Northwest. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University. He also recently served on the Board of Oregon Smart Growth.
