Experience

As Vice President of Construction, Travis oversees Guardian’s in-house construction management capabilities, serving as the owner’s representative on major renovation and development projects. He leads all aspects of project execution, including contractor oversight, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, change management, and project delivery. Prior to joining Guardian, Travis led Wood Partners’ multifamily construction projects throughout the Portland and Seattle markets, serving as both the owner’s representative and general contractor while delivering more than 2,000 apartment homes.

With more than 20 years of experience in multifamily construction, Travis has led complex capital improvement, repositioning, and development projects across affordable and market-rate housing. His expertise includes construction planning, contractor procurement and oversight, budget management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance, delivering projects that meet financial objectives while supporting the long-term performance of each asset. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Central Washington University. He also completed the Real Estate Management Program through Harvard Business School Executive Education and earned a Certificate in Real Estate, Investments and Development from the University of San Diego.
